Russell E. Freeman
Russell is a lifelong resident of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, where he currently serves as the City Attorney. With over thirty years of experience as a trial attorney, he has handled numerous jury and bench trials involving a broad range of civil matters across Davidson, Sumner, and Robertson counties.
Known for his calm approach and dedication to each case, Russell treats every client as his most important. He has built a trusted reputation for helping individuals through hardship and holding others accountable when it matters most.
His practice includes decades of experience in personal injury claims, car accidents, estate planning, probate law, and estate litigation. He also represents clients in divorces, child custody cases, child support matters, and other complex family law disputes.
Russell is a Registered Title Agent and has facilitated countless real estate closings and property transactions—residential and commercial alike—including asset purchase agreements throughout Middle Tennessee.
Deeply rooted in the Goodlettsville community, Russell remains active in civic and professional life. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Goodlettsville Chamber of Commerce for nearly thirty years, including a term as President. He is also a graduate of the first Leadership Goodlettsville class.
Outside the office, Russell enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren—and tending to the family cattle farm where he was raised.
